HPS Jardine has been Sony Computer Entertainment UK’s sports communications agency for over ten years, responsible for launching and developing media campaigns around the brand’s biggest and most successful sporting titles. The agency is tasked with maximising its sporting media relations to promote games within the areas of football, motor sport, boxing and athletics. We take our responsibilities so seriously, we can be often found in the office testing the games late into the evening!
Supporting media events range from the creation of a multi-million pound garage on the top floor of a Soho car park; utilising the ‘larger-than-life’ Daley Thompson to promote the official Olympics game; successfully orchestrating a freestyle football 24 hour Guinness world record in Covent Garden to help launch a grassroots football initiative; and even body painting IBF and WBA super-middleweight world champion boxer Carl Froch as the lead character Kratos to launch ‘God of War: Ascension’. The launch of PlayStation 4 exclusive DRIVECLUB was also brought to life with journalists teaming up to face both virtual and real driving challenges at the stunning Mercedes-Benz World, highlighting the game’s incredible realism.
