CASE STUDY

Case study picBridgestone Motorsport

HPS Jardine has provided PR and marketing support to Bridgestone’s Motorsport department for over a decade.

Having previously worked on the Japanese tyre giant’s Formula 1 and GP2 programmes, HPS Jardine also managed media relations and marketing activities for Bridgestone in their role as Official Tyre Supplier to MotoGP… and the fastest men on two wheels.

You could almost smell the rubber as HPS Jardine accelerated into action, creating digital media assets for Bridgestone Motorsport and managing its social and online media presence, generating appealing content for fans and media.

At the circuits on race weekends, a comprehensive press office function worked closely with print, online & broadcast media to secure media coverage and enhance the reputation of the brand. As we followed the championship around the world, keeping up with the likes of exciting MotoGP two-time World Champion Marc Marquez, the agency consistently delivered gripping campaigns, leveraging the series’ popularity to build awareness of Bridgestone’s extensive range of products.

HPS Jardine’s track record of delivering engaging motor sport campaigns to consumers was again put to good use in the Bridgestone Club46 campaign, starring nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi. This award-winning campaign gave fans across Europe the chance to win an exclusive meet-and-greet with Rossi at a MotoGP race, by participating in a number of attractive online contests. This campaign was an all-agency effort with HPS Jardine heading up the PR and on-event activation components, HPS Group handling social and digital content creation, while Breakfast of Champions served up some tasty video content.
